Itinerary

Day 1: Guwahati to Kaziranga

Arrival in Guwahati Airport or the Railway station, meet our guide driver. Later, journey to Kaziranga (220 K/M – 5 hrs). The Park is known as the World’s heritage site. It is a famous for its one-Horned Rhinos and Tigers. En route, visit Assam Tea garden and local cities. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

 

Day 2: Kaziranga Jungle Safari

Early in the morning at 4.30 A.M, take an Elephant ride in Kohora or Bagori range. After breakfast, visit Kaziranga orchids Park. Later, 1.30 P.M, take a Jeep Safari. In the evening, enjoy the local Assamese cultural show. Overnight stay in the Kaziranga National Park.

 

Day 3: Kaziranga Forest to Jorhat

After breakfast, drive to Jorhat (70 K/M – 3 hrs). The city is known as the Tea capital of Assam. En route, visit the oldest Tea estates, Gymkhana club, and local market. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

 

Day 4: Jorhat to Majuli Island

After breakfast, take a ferry from Nimatighat to Majuli. The island is known as a World’s largest River line. En route, see the Brahmaputra landscape and nearby attractions. Later, explore the oldest Hindu satars, Mishing tribal village and the local market. Overnight stay in the Majuli Home-stay.

 

Day 5: Majuli to Sivasagar

After breakfast, proceed to Sivasagar (70 K/M – 3 hrs). This place is famous for its Ahom monuments. En route, places to visit such as, Rang Ghar, Kareng Ghar, Talatal palace and Shivadol temple. Overnight stay in Hotel Sivasagar.

 

Day 6: Sivasagar to Tezpur

After breakfast, travel to Tezpur (200 K/M – 4hrs). The city is known as the heritage places of Assam. En route, visit Aganigarh Hills, Cold Park, and Sri Sri Mahabhairab Temple. Later, explore the local Tezpur supermarket. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

 

Day 7: Tezpur to Guwahati

After breakfast, proceed to Guwahati (190 K/M – 3 hrs). The city is known as the biggest oldest town of Assam. En route, visit Maa Kamakhya Temple, Shankar Dev Kalakshetra, and fancy market. In the evening, take a Sun Set or Dinner cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay in the Hotel Guwahati.

 

Day 8: Guwahati Airport

After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati LGBI Airport / Railway station. Tour Ends.
